This Skarpsno 44 is a design by the renowned Dick Zaal. The lines plan has many similarities with Colin Archer, which guarantees pleasant sea behavior. "Orp" belongs to the 1st owner and is in good condition. The boat has been proven to be ocean-worthy and very suitable as a departure boat and long stay on board. The hull was built in 1994 by Mekon in Lemmer and only put into use in 1998. The hull is insulated with BASF Styrodur, which makes it suitable for both warm and colder areas. The Isuzu 81 HP diesel was installed in 2016. Furthermore, power can be generated with the 6 Kva generator. The Webasto C.V. ensures that the interior remains pleasantly dry and warm. All navigation tools you need for ocean passages are provided. The interior is divided into different compartments that can be closed with a watertight door.
Upon entering, the navigation corner is on the port side and the kitchen is slightly aft. There is a cozy seating area on starboard. and directly next to the entrance the toilet and shower room. In the bow there is a cabin with bunk beds and a room with washing machine. There is an extra sleeping place at the front. Through the hallway to the rear, where there is plenty of cupboard and storage space, you pass the engine room and work space. At the rear is a double cabin.
