Chris-Craft's celebrates 150th Anniversary by Unveiling the Special Edition Launch 27

Chris-Craft, the celebrated American boatbuilder established in 1874 and owned by Winnebago Industries, marks its 150th anniversary. The brand commemorates the milestone by launching a special edition of its iconic Launch 2. This exclusive boat is the first of two products for 2024.

The special edition Launch 27 has a unique aquamarine trim, honoring Chris-Craft's historical colors. It comes with a 150th burgee and steering wheel cap. The boat keeps the hallmark features of Chris-Craft's legendary boatbuilding, like a deep-V hull, reverse transoms, classic lines, hand-selected teak, and meticulous attention to detail.

Chris-Craft, founded in 1874 by Christopher Columbus Smith, holds a crucial place in American history. The brand pioneered engine-propelled boats and supplied over 12,000 vessels to the U.S. military in World War II. Renowned for handcrafted beauty, elegant design, and peak performance, Chris-Craft boats have been favored by historical figures like Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy to icons like Frank Sinatra and Katherine Hepburn.

As part of the 150th-anniversary celebration, Chris-Craft plans to unveil a new, next-generation boat with a sportier design.
