On January 20, 2024 at 10 a.m., boot will once again open its doors in Düsseldorf. With 1,500 exhibitors from 67 countries, it is the largest boat show in the world. This year, almost 1,100 boats will be presented in 17 halls, covering an area of around 220,000 square meters. Many yachts are already on site or are just being delivered.

The largest yacht this year is the Ocean 182 from Sunseeker and will be exhibited in Hall 6. The yacht is approx. 27 meters long, approx. 7 meters wide and weighs over 80 tons. We already reported on this yacht in October. Click here for the article: Link

In addition to the 200,000 visitors and people interested in boats, around 40,000 experts from all over the world also come every year to find out more. In recent years, the trade fair has also developed into a business platform for the boating industry, where experts and water sports companies can exchange ideas perfectly. These include many charter companies, base operators, the accessories industry, surveyors, yacht insurance companies, financiers and much more.

The high density of world premieres makes the boat show the world's leading trade fair once again this year.

Comment from me (Carsten): Especially if you want to buy a boat, a visit is definitely worthwhile, as you can compare virtually all boat types and categories. All the well-known manufacturers are there and you have a huge choice. I have been visiting almost every boat show in Europe for many years, but there is nothing comparable to boot in Düsseldorf. I'm there every day myself and will certainly report on some of the news here.
