The waterline length is extended by lengthening the bow, all the way from below the water line to the top. This makes the entrance finer, down to a 10 mm radius. The finer bows’ entrance decreases resistance resulting in a higher speed. The bows have two safety bulkheads in case of hull penetrations. In the rear, the transom is extended to increase the diving platform to a length of 1.10 meters or 3 ft 8 inch and an extra buoyancy chamber is added here. We have increased the headroom to more than 2 meters inside.<br /> <br /> Sideview<br /> By raising the stronger thicker type of rub rail with 60 mm or 2.5 inches and the port-holes that have been moved below the rub rails FastCat 445 gives a sleeker and longer appearance. Optionally, 6 portholes can be placed per side instead of the standard 4. All this gives the cat a cleaner, more modern look and it greatly improves visibility.<br /> The all new FastCat has a very futuristic design befitting this new fossil free catamaran.<br /> <br /> Interior<br /> A large saloon with the galley up and navigation station looking forward and a comfortable U-seat that easily accommodates 8 persons guarantee an easy live aboard.
