This 1967 Kim Holman M30, built by Whisstock's of Woodbridge, “Rosa Marie” is a classic Bluewater cruising yacht in all the very best traditions. Substantially built by Whisstock’s, she has successfully crossed oceans safely and in great comfort. Her excellent British craftsmanship and build will stand her new owners in very good stead. She has seven berths in four cabins and is fitted with a Beta 50HP diesel engine that was new in 2015 and has only completed 300 hours. A berth at Swale Marina in Kent is available.

Accommodation :
The Kim Holman M30 accommodates 7 people in 4 cabins. The Forward cabin has two single berths with storage underneath There is storage under the berths.
Forward of the Forward Cabin is the heads compartment with a marine heads with holding tank and a wash basin with manually pumped cold water.
Aft of the forward cabins is the main saloon. It has an L-shaped settee to port with stowage under, to starboard is a settee berth with backrest that hinges up to give a bunk berth, with stowage behind. The upholstery is a floral pattern.
The Galley is aft of the saloon and to port with Nelson gas cooker with two rings grill and oven with plenty of storage space. It has 2 sinks with manually pumped cold water.
There is a brand new Eberspacher D4 Diesel cabin heating that has never been used.
Steps lead up into the dog house where there are two additional quarter berths. Doors open out into the large cockpit.

A fair sailor’s yacht with typical Holman lines. A traditional heavy strong boat at her best in a strong blow, she has severed us well over the last 23 years and we will miss her dearly but age catches up with us and our health is deteriorating

History and Construction:

This 1967 Kim Holman M30 was built by Whisstock's of Woodbridge Suffolk in 1967. Construction white painted Iroko on Canadian rock elm frame, bolt on cast iron keel, and cream GRP decks with non slip. Owned by the current owner for the last 23 years. The yacht was last ashore in October 2023. She was antifouled in 2019 when the anodes were changed. The vessel was last surveyed in November 2014. The yacht is being sold as the owner is retiring from sailing due to health.

Mechanical Systems: This yacht is powered by Beta 50HP four cylinder 50hp inboard diesel engine. The engine was fitted new in 2015 and has competed 300 hours as at the 8th January 2024. The engine was last serviced by the owner in June 2023. The engine is currently winterised.
It is shaft drive to a 3 bladed fixed propeller, with single lever control. It has a 150 Litre mild steel fuel tank. The yacht will cruise at approx. 6 knots and has an approx. maximum speed of 8 knots.
Electrical Systems:

5 x 12 volt batteries (4 x domestic 142AH 1 x engine 110AH) new in 2023 all charging from the engine 100Ah alternator, wind generator, 240 volt battery charger, 240 volt ring main and a Silent Wind 400Watt Wind Generator that needs to be fitted NASA Battery management system. It has a 300 Watt inverter fitted and 800 Watt inverter that has yet to be fitted.
