The Vindö 40 is a classic Swedish-built quality boat designed by the founder of the Vindö shipyard Carl Andersson, here in a really well-maintained two-owner copy with a newer freshwater-cooled Sole diesel engine (approx. from 2000 with about 1190 hours). The boat also has a newer sail wardrobe from approx. 2010 with lazybag and brand new Selden roller forestay, new batteries and wiring, newer sprayhood, cover for the upgraded steering wheel, chartplotter, autopilot, cool box and updated electrical system.
The hull is made of fiberglass, the deck is teak and the boat's interior consists of charming quality wood paneling. The boat has a bright saloon with a U-shaped sofa, plenty of storage space and an integrated pantry with 230 volts shore power, a cool box, 2-burner hob and a sink with fresh water.
The U-sofa can be converted into a double berth which, together with the single berth in the saloon, the bunk by the navigation table and the double berth in the bow, gives the boat a total of 6 berths. The boat also has a toilet of recent vintage and a washbasin.
