The Roskilde 32 is a unique appearance inspired by the Danish double ended cutters. The ship is steel joggled built which guarantees a very strong construction. The ship can sail in shallow water and easily fall dry on her bilge keels. In addition, she is seaworthy and has sailed several times to Scandinavia. The hull was painted in 2015 in her fresh white color. The cockpit is equipped with cockpit cushions. In 2018, the forward cabin was fitted with comfortable Neptune mattresses. The interior is richly panelled with beautiful teak, and the quality of the carpentry is at a high level. The deck was re-rubbed in the winter of 2020/2021 and has been put in hardwood oil. The masts were repainted in 2023. The cockpit floor is aluminum and the bumper strip all around is stainless steel.
General:
Name ship Anna Valente, construction material steel, teak deck, year of construction 1989, design A. de Lange, hull yard built by De Vries in Lemmer. Superstructure and interior made in own management. Waterdisplacement 10.000 kilo, ballast 2.200 kilo lead in the keel. The keel box is welded shut at the bottom, fixed draft of 1.10 meters. 4 fixed berths divided over forecabin 2.10 meter bed length and 2 beds in the saloon of 2.00 meter bed length. The table can be lowered to create a fifth berth. Headroom in the saloon 1.83 meters, tiller steering, swim ladder with extra step under water. The life raft has expired and must be re-inspected.
Rigging:
Two-master ketch rigged, 2 wooden masts repainted in 2023, mainsail from 2008 with binding reef, furling genoa 2007 on short fixed jib boom, mizzen 2012, kite, storm jib.
Electrics and equipment:
1 light battery from 2023 and 1 starter battery, Waeco 15 Ah three-stage battery charger, Dometic inverter 350 watts, compass, Nasa Stingray depth sounder, Furuno GP-31 GPS, Standard Horizon VHF radio, halogen lighting inside.
Gas and water:
Aluminum water tank 200 liters, foot pump operation, refrigerator top loader Isotherm, 3-burner stove with oven from 2021, Webasto hot air heater (not working).
