This Puffin 36 is a work of art. Built to the highest standards. The mast can be topped with one and a half which limits the clearance to 12.50m. The total length including bowsprit is approximately 12.50m, with the bowsprit raised almost 11 meters. The vessel has a retractable keel that can reduce the draft to 90m, with lowered, weighted keel the draft is approximately 185cm. The decks are made of Iroko and the partly lacquered and painted superstructure is made of pine. The hull is of red cedar wrapped in polyester and impregnated with epocy. The warm, comfortable interior is made entirely of mahogany. The ship is further equipped with modern navigation equipment, a bow thruster of recent date and a recent electric windlass with remote control. Hull built 1995, first launched 1998.
Broker comments: A very characteristic ship, based on the example of an old English gaff cutter designed by Olivier van Meer. Therefore it has good sailing characteristics and is very comfortable. The engine is fully serviced in 2022.
