The Kerstholt is a wooden sloop with a length of 4.60 meters and a width of 1.80 meters. She is a graceful appearance on the water and has only a draft of 35 centimeters. The headroom of 75 centimeters offers this sloop a practical solution.
Built by the Kerstholt shipyard, this sloop has a classic round bilge hull shape and is steered with a tiller from the outside deck. The single rudder provides easy maneuverability. The last service was performed on Sept. 25, 2022, and one including an antifouling treatment in 2023.
The sloop's engine is working and offers a maximum speed of 7 kilometers per hour. Key on-board gauges include an oil pressure gauge, tachometer and temperature gauge. Electricity is provided by a single 12V battery, assisted by a voltmeter.
On deck we find a single anchor attached with a manual windlass, while fenders and mooring lines, a tarpaulin and teak deck complete the exterior. Safety is ensured by an electric bilge pump.
The included Gig brand road trailer offers handiness for transportation, making this sloop versatile for a variety of boating adventures.
