For sale is a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 52.2 #157 "Blue Sunshine" which was launched in 2002 and built in 2001. The sailing yacht is in perfect condition and ready for new adventures with new owners.

The boat is owned by the same German owner since new and sailed exclusively in the Baltic Sea, she came into new hands in 2021 bound for a circumnavigation. The initial owners kept her in mint condition and all improvements made throughout the years have been done with the best quality in mind. Upgrades since 2021 has complemented the already up to date yacht with a focus on blue water readiness - standing and running rigging, safety, and long-range redundancy. With her classic lines, Blue Sunshine is a reliable yacht on long passages and day sails alike, with a set up for a comfortable life onboard. A full bimini top and sprayhood makes the cockpit ideal for long days at sea. The teak deck contributes to her classic feel and everything onboard is set up for easy sailing. Three electrical winches, double helms, all lines within reach from cockpit and a classic transom aft for dips in the sea or easy dinghy access. The interior has two spacious cabins aft with double berths, and an owner’s cabin in the front, three heads and a grand salon with galley and navigation station as well as many cabinets and drawers to make storage easy. Her mahogany interior as well as custom built floorboards contribute to a luxurious feel throughout. This is a performance yacht in her prime. She successfully sailed the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC+) in 2022 and World ARC in 2023-2024.

Cockpit
A grand cockpit that fits 8 guests seated for dinner. Double helms, plotter integrated in the table and a set up made for easy single- handed sailing. Three electric winches, bimini with sunshade roof windows, spray hood, storage and access to the generator set.

Interior
The interior of this yacht is spacious, with high ceilings, natural light flooding in through the many portholes and an abundance of storage space. The mahogany gives Blue Sunshine a classic feel, yet with modern design thinking. The custom-made floorboards make for easy storage below and are a beautiful feature. The two spacious cabins with double berths and ensuite heads aft, as well as a spacious owner’s cabin in the bow makes comfortable berthing for six guests. The galley includes a double sink, a Force 10 gas cooker, a microwave oven with baking features, a large freezer, and a fridge as well as a sea water tap. At sea the galley is an ideal place for cooking with its L-shaped design, optimized to keep you steady while underway. The large salon with its leather sofa and foldable table easily makes room for 8 guests. Ample storage in cabinets and under the sofa cushions makes food storage and large provisioning easy.
