This 1980 Hunter Impala yacht presents an excellent opportunity for aspiring racers and coastal enthusiasts alike. Sold in its current condition, it requires some refurbishment before hitting the waves. Featuring one double cabin and two single berths in the saloon, it offers comfortable accommodation.
The vessel will be sold via sealed bid, "as is, where is," according to the Admiralty Marshal’s Conditions of Sale.
Sealed bids must be submitted by post or email no later than 09:00 GMT on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024.

Accommodation :
This Hunter Impala offers a total of four berths, two berths in the forward cabin, and two berths in the saloon. The forward cabin consist of double berth with storage underneath and storage space on the starboard side.
The Heads are located behind the forward owner’s cabin on the port side, with a white folding sink mounted in a vanity unit and marine toilet.
The main saloon has bench seating either side with lifting back rests for extra storage. The Galley located on the starboard side with storage cupboards, sink with pumped cold water, two-burner gas hob and oven.
This boat also has a drop-down navigation table on the port side consisting of electric control switches, navigation table, VHF Radio, GPS, and CD/Radio.
The companionway leads out to a large aft cockpit for a boat of its size with beach seating to either side, access to the engine bay, tiller steering and engine controls at the rear of the vessel.

History & Construction:

Built in 1980 this Hunter Impala was constructed of hand laid FRP laminate incorporating a balsa wood core. White deck with non-slip surfaces and tiller steer. This boat was designed by David Thomas in 1975 and built by Hunter. A copy of the 2017 survey is available upon written request.

This Hunter Impala OOD is a Bermudan sloop with a decked stepped aluminium mast and boom. The vessel has a fractional rig with 1 x 19 Dyform stainless steel wire mast support halyards. It has slab reefing mainsail with a foresail furling system. It also has an spinnaker pole. The age of the running rigging and standing rigging is unknown.
