The first owner of the Hestia had the hull of this sturdy Colin Archer built at Bronsveen in Woudbloem. He himself took care of the interior. The current (second) owner sailed to Scandinavia every year, often with guests. The boat is perfectly suited for this type of trip.
With a length of almost 15 meters and her considerable width, the boat offers plenty of space below decks and a clever layout. The joggled steel of this yacht is two-sided welded and extremely strong.
The thick frames, keel sole and hull are ironclad. The boat has been extremely well maintained by the current owners. For example, she has just been repainted and the hefty batteries have all been renewed.
