The Sun Odyssey 350 is making its world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf 2024

The Sun Odyssey 350 makes its world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf 2024 and introduces several innovative features.

The Sun Odyssey 350 sailboat introduces several innovative features enhancing onboard life quality and sailing performance:

Walkaround Side decks: Adapted from larger models, these allow the helmsperson to access the forward deck directly from the helm without disturbing crew members in the cockpit. This design results in the twin helms being positioned further out, improving visibility and access to the winch, and creating a more peaceful area for passengers during maneuvers.

Comfort and Safety in the Cockpit: The high coaming and comfortable seating offer a secure environment, especially beneficial for parents with young children.

Generous Swim Platform: A notably large swim platform for a 35-foot sailboat is located at the aft, facilitating water access and serving as an enjoyable space for activities like diving and paddleboarding. The off-centred twin helms and the increased beam width by 15 cm compared to its predecessor ensure smooth movement to the boat's aft.

Rigging and Hull Design: The Sun Odyssey 350 doesn't have a backstay; instead, it features 30° swept spreaders in the rigging to support the mast. The Marc Lombard-designed hull retains the chined hull of the previous model for stability and introduces an innovative bow that changes its position relative to the water depending on wind strength, aiding in docking and handling in various wind conditions.

Versatility and Performance: This model is a continuation of the successful aspects of the Sun Odyssey 349. It is a high-performance, versatile sailboat that is ideal for both coastal cruising and longer ocean voyages. The Sun Odyssey 350 balances performance with comfort, appealing to sailing enthusiasts who appreciate both efficiency and a passion for the sea.
