Following Easter, more than 50 ocean liners with around 100,000 passengers will visit the island. Currently, 51 cruise ships with around 100,000 tourists will moor at the ferry pier in the island's capital. This corresponds to an increase of 24.39 percent compared to the same month last year and also marks the start of a season that could set new standards.

"Superluxury" cruise ships are also very much in vogue, catering to an exclusive clientele with their yacht flair. Here too, 5 of these luxury liners are due to moor in Palma. The Evrima, the Emerald twins, the Scenic Eclipse, Le Champlain and the World Navigator are expected to arrive in April.

Among the classic shipping companies, MSC leads the field with nine stopovers in Palma, with three ships even mooring in Palma at the same time on one day. P&O/Princess and Costa Cruceros follow with three visits each.

Tall ships such as the Wind Spirit, Star Flyer and the historic Sea Cloud are also scheduled to call at the port of Palma in April. These ships offer an alternative to the huge cruise ships and offer an experience close to nature. Adventurers will also get their money's worth here.
