The Baltic 37 was developed in 1978 and yacht number one was delivered from the yard in September 1978. The architect was Rob W. Ball, C & C Design Canada with deck and interior design by the Baltic yard's own people. The design focused on general all-round sailing, intended to be easy to handle, seaworthy in all weather conditions and with performance for racing.
The Baltic is has a comfortable interior, where a family can make nice trips, but also a larger racing crew can find enough sleeping space below deck. It is a proven good sailor and can compete well in offshore sailing races.
This Baltic 37 is very well maintained and has always been inside during the winter. Sails are like new, teak deck is some years ago by the Baltic yard renewed (largely pasted, not screwed), the underwater hull is some years ago by the yard stripped bare and 7 layers of gel-shield provided, the hull is in the DD-lacquer of the IJssel put and the anti-fouling is painted in 2012. The interior still looks excellent.
